Please be advised that appointments must begin promptly, and a delay of 15 minutes or more may result in the cancellation of your appointment. Furthermore, we are appointment based and require prompt collection of your pet so they do not get distressed waiting. A waiting fee may apply for delayed pick-up.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 50% fee. 24 hours or less requires full payment for the service.
De-matting fees will apply, and while every effort will be made to de-matt your pet whenever feasible, severe matting may necessitate shaving or referral to a veterinarian. Refusal to shave or insistence on de-matting after coat assessment will be treated as a cancellation or no show requiring full payment.
Matted shave down of pelted coats incurs an additional charge of $50.
Furthermore, an understanding of risk must be consented to with severely matted coats, risk of injury increases significantly; combined with a sudden movement and an accident can happen. In these cases, some accountability does rest with the owner who had been maintaining coat in between appointments.
We do not operate on weekends as a rule, there are exceptions to the rule if time permits- a Saturday appointment surcharge is 15%, the same as before or after standard business hours (9-5).
